This material is often used in hand lotions or creams to act as a "go-between" from water based ingredients to oil based ingredients. Water and oil don't mix, right? With an emulsifier they do. All emulsifiers will tend to have a thickening effect as they cause the oil and water ingredients to co-exist. Emulsifying wax is usually made of cetearyl alcohol and a polysorbate. If yours says "natural" be aware that those two ingredients are still the same but they come from natural sources. That is the case with this particular brand. If you're formulating something that has both oil-based ingredients and water based ingredients, you will have trouble with your ingredients tending to separate. You need an emulsifier to keep the mixture smooth and with a creamy consistency. Emulsifying wax will perform that function.
This is a milliard brand. They advertise 0% additives like perfumes or dyes and they state that its derived from palm oils. They also state that its non-GMO. For best results use a percentage of 3 to 6. Here is a site that gives additional instructions on the milliard brand:

Does that mean you shouldn’t worry about it? Not really. Even though emulsifying wax is not known to have any irritants even for those with sensitive skin, take note if you start reacting to anything with an emulsifying agent. You might want to try out something without emulsifying wax for a day or two to check if that’s really the ingredient you need to avoid. Otherwise, go for it!"

This problem usually occurs with multiple items. We have free shipping on many of our items. In your cart items will have the sum of all embedded shipping costs. If you place an order for 3 or more "FreeShip" items, you will receive a "rebate" for the excess shipping. The more items you have the greater the shipping refund will be. You can also message us to ask what the total cost of your order will be when excess shipping is refunded before you purchase.
Or, if you see "Request a Custom Order" or "Message Seller", you can request a custom order and your items will be put in a custom listing with the correct shipping. You would purchase it like any other listing.
